Adventure unlocks inspiration.

Coaching turns it into clarity and action.

Your Next

You've followed the map. Navigated the switchbacks. Taken your share of falls. You've reached the summit of your career - hard-won and worth it.

You want what comes next to look different, but the next summit that truly matters isn't clear yet.

That uncertainty, that opening, that pull toward something more. That's where Second Summit Adventures begins.

Why Us

Adventure gets you out of your head. Coaching gets you clear on what's next.

Every Second Summit Adventures experience is built on the Summit to Summitâ„¢ framework - four scaffolds that take you from ready to moving:

  • Clarity — see what matters now: What do you actually want vs. what you think you should want?

  • Structure — build the map forward: What’s the worthy goal, and what are the first 30 days of testing it?

  • Support — climb with a guide, not alone: Who needs to know about this, and who can help you get there?

  • Momentum — take the first real step: What’s one action you can take this week that moves you forward?

Choose Your Adventure

One day. Three days. Seven days.

Each designed to get clearer on what's next, test your path forward, and reveal summits you can’t see from here.

Approach (Mt. Hood - Winter 26)

A full day of skiing and coaching. The mountain inspires. The questions build momentum.

We start with coaching, then move to the mountain with questions on the lifts, clarity between runs, breakthroughs over lunch. We finish the day with a draft of your worthy goal (the purpose pulling you forward) and a 30-day plan to test it.

Winter: Blue runs minimum - advanced welcome (snowshoeing available for non-skiers)

Spring / Summer: Biking, hiking, and fishing - starting April ‘26.

Ascent (Bend, OR - Spring/Summer ‘26)

Three days. Solo or with a small group of leaders.

We define your worthy goal, then go deeper - what are you actually leaving behind? What's the real cost of staying put? What does the path to this summit require?

The activity adapts to the season and your interests - biking, fly fishing, hiking, paddleboarding. The outdoor adventure creates the space. The coaching framework creates the clarity.

You leave with your worthy goal defined, your obstacles named with a plan to navigate them, and a 90-day roadmap towards your second summit.

Summit (Japan - 2027)

Seven days in Japan's mountains. World-class powder. Solo or up to four leaders.

More than a bucket-list ski trip: lift-accessed backcountry, untouched powder, onsen soaks, great food. The coaching happens on the mountain and off - we work through your worthy goal, map your support crew, remove barriers, and accelerate forward progress.

For leaders at a major turning point who want the time and space to cross the threshold.

Meet The Coach

Brad Schwartz

I spent nearly 25 years leading global technology teams at Intel. In early 2023, I left to build Tech Leaders Coach, working with technical leaders on the toughest parts of leadership.

The transition was a lot harder than I expected. I'd done the work - mitigated risk, built new skills, surrounded myself with the right people. But the old stories showed up anyway. Fear of failure. Fear of financial insecurity. Even when the foundation was solid, it didn't always feel that way.

Over the last few years, I've climbed toward my own second summit - building a coaching practice that balances meaningful work, income goals, and the freedom I was chasing. I'm heading into 2026 with the confidence to broaden my focus and curious about the side trails I haven’t explored yet.

Second Summit Adventures is a new offering that brings it all together - my experience navigating transition, the coaching frameworks I've learned, and a lifelong love of chasing powder, hiking, and biking. Sometimes you need to get out of your office, out of your routine, and into a place where clarity has room to happen. That's what this is for.
